Joe Amos Conley, 48, of Ionia passed away Feb. 27, 2003. He was born
in Ionia on Sept. 26, 1954, the son of Mitchel and June (Reed) Conley. He
graduated from Lakewood High School in 1972. He went on to marry Sheryl Price
in 1996.

Joe was an avid Dale Earnhart collector and race fan. He enjoyed camping,
bowling, and was a Moose member since 1984. Joe worked at Frigidaire for 22
years.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Jenna in 1995; brother Gordan; and
grandparents. Joe is survived by his wife Sheryl of Ionia; parents Mitchel and
June Conley of Ionia; sons Greg and (Trisha) Conley of Sheridan, William “Bill”
and (Elizabeth) Conley of Ionia, Travis Conley of Traverse City and
Lance “Earl” Conley of Ionia; brothers Maston “Gene” and (Brandy Mumby) Conley
of Sheridan; David and (Sherry Fischer) Conley of Ionia and William L. Conley
of Ionia; five grandchildren; special friend Pete Bowerman; and many nieces,
nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services are l p.m. Monday at Lake Funeral Home, Ionia, with Rev.
Conrad Campbell officiating. A visitation is scheduled 5 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday
at the funeral home. Anyone wishing to may make a memorial contribution to
Ionia Area Hospice.
