Mitchel, 78, of Ionia, passed away Sunday, at his residence. He was the son of Joe and Lindy (Smith) Conley.
Mitch liked to bowl, work on cars and being with his family, friends and 2 dogs but most of all to be with his 2 sons in his garage.Mitch worked for over 30 years at Keeler Brass in Lake Odessa and was a member of the Ionia Moose Lodge #998.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, June Conley; sons, Joe Conley, Bill Conley and Gordon Conley; granddaughter, Jenna Conley; sister, Ida May and brother, Roy Conley.
Surviving are his sons, Gene (Brandy)Conley of Sheridan and David (Sherry) Conley of Ionia; sisters, Omie, Ada, Susie, Bessie; brother, Tom Conley; 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren who will miss their grandpa, as well as many nieces and nephews.
You will be missed greatly Mitch. A special thank you to Terry Clark Conley, who helped Dad and Mom through the years.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Koops Funeral Chapel – Lake Odessa.
