"Doris Lillie Barnett of Auburn died January 11, 2001 in Tacoma. She was 83.
Born May 3, 1917 in Lincoln, Nebraska, she married Elijah Vernon Barnett on March 16, 1939 and lived in Auburn for 50 years.

Mrs. Barnett is survived by her sons, Harold Barnett and Charles Barnett, both of Kent; Arthur Barnett of Buckley and Joseph Barnett of Spanaway; daughters Margaret Smith and Phyliss Voss, both of Kent, and Linda Daildenas of Port Angeles; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. tomorrow and 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial in SeaTac. A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial."
