WHITING - Richard Glover Ames Look Sr. passed away Dec. 27, 2004, at Downeast Community Hospital. He was born July 3, 1935, in Whiting. He spent his entire life enjoying all his most favorite activities; including hunting, fishing, camping with his wife and children, working in the woods, and on the ocean with his sons. He approached life with tremendous energy, passion, and zeal. He excelled in everything he attempted. He will be greatly missed by Woody Bragg and Fiddie Dill; along with many others. He is survived by the mother of his children, Nancy Albee; his children, Richard Look Jr., Rex Look, and Gwendolyn Townsend; grandchildren, Augustus, Johanna, Nicholas, Josiah, Brandis, Lukas, Samantha, and Logan; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jonathan, Samuel, Justice, Gus, Alice, and Jacob; his brothers, Harvey, Lucky, Charles, Pete; and sister, Sandra. He is predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Frances Look; his brothers, James and Otis; sisters, Marjorie, Marguerite, Joyce, Doris, Madeline, Hazel and Elsie. There will be a memorial gathering from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, at the Machias Motor Inn Banquet Facility. All family members and friends, past and present, are encouraged to attend. A graveside service will be held sometime in the spring.
