Elmer Blanchard Look is the son of James William Look and Alice May Anthony. Elmer was a fisherman, truck driver and farmer. Elmer married (1st) Josie M. Ackley on March 29, 1905 in Machiasport, Maine. Elmer and Josie had five children. Elmer married (2nd) Frances E. Preston in about 1918. Elmer and Frances had thirteen children.

All of sources and documents indicate that Elmer was born in 1885 rather that the year on his headstone of 1886.
