ENGLAND. Sullivan-Ed England, 82, of Sullivan died 2am Wed (June 5, 1996) in the Sullivan Health Care Center.

Service will be 1:30pm Sat in McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan, with Rev Dr David Leslie officiating. Visitation will be 6-8pm Fri. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bethany (IL). Memorials: donor's choice.

Mr. England was born in Monroe Co, KY on Feb 2, 1914, the son of William Clay & Lucy Crowe England. He served his country in the 13th Airborne Division of the Army during WWII. He retired after 35 years as a mechanic for the International Harvester dealership in Sullivan and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 6410. He married Berniece Daum on June 26,1937 in Terre Haute, IN.

Surviving are his wife; sons, Donald of Sullivan; Roger of Atwood, Michael of Corning, IA; Kim of Indianapolis, IN; daughters, Connie Titus and Jill England of Matton; many more relatives...
