Mary was a devoted housewife and loving mother of three daughters, Rebecca Schuman Davis (Frisco, TX), Julie Schuman Brown and husband Jeff (Allen, TX), Janie Schuman Ramsey and husband Greg (Royse City, TX) and grandchildren, Scott Davis, Amanda Brown, Samuel Ramsey (wife Olivia) and Jackson Ramsey. Mary was the youngest of 10 siblings and has now joined them all in heaven. Mary was a beloved Aunt with many nieces and nephews. Mary always greeted others with a beautiful smile, a warm hug, a listening ear, and words of encouragement. She was truly her daughter's greatest supporter and cheerleader. While Mary will be truly missed in this life, she is now dancing, singing, and worshiping with her precious Lord that she loved so much.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne, TX. The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice Select in Dallas, TX and/or Heritage House in Allen, TX.
Mary's daughters are traveling from Texas to fulfill their beloved mother's wishes to have her ashes buried in her final resting place with her parents at the French Cemetery in Allenville. An informal graveside service will be Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., in French Cemetery, Allenville, for any family and friends who would like to pay their final respects.
