Helen Withers passed from this life on Sunday, November 18th. She was born on December 7, 1918 in Scranton, PA. She was the youngest of nine children born to George and Mary Ann Albright. Helen was married to Jack Withers in 1939 on her 21st birthday. They moved to Florida in 1967. She loved music and was a pianist for several churches over the years. She is predeceased by her husband of forty-eight years; her son, George G. Withers; her friend and companion, Charles Holt; her parents; and all eight of her siblings. She is survived by her daughter and son-in law, Betsy and Dale Enslin of Port Orange, Florida, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Port Orange Christian Church Building Fund at 904 Taylor Road, Port Orange, Florida 32127 or Hospice of Volusia/Flagler Port Orange Care Center at 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, Florida 32129 Plans for a Memorial Service are pending at this time.
