Mame and Dave lived on N. Sumner Ave. in the Hyde Park section of Scranton for much of their lives. She never worked outside the home herself but her husband was an optician until his retirement and made all the eyeglasses for most of us in the family. Mame enjoyed sewing as well as singing and had a very nice soprano voice.
In the mid 1960s they sold their home in Scranton and relocated to Fl where they spent their remaining years. Mame passed away on Easter Sunday 1985 at Shady Oaks Rest Home in Holly Hill FL. A memorial service was held at Ormond Beach First Christian Church which she had been an active member of before her health declined.
