2nd Married to Rev. Joseph Jasper Bristow on 20 May 1827 in Daviess Co., KY. They had children Hannah Ann, Benjamin T., Joseph Jasper Jr., Ansel Hall, Samuel Haynes, Rachel Whittaker, Hyram and William H.
She is a descendant of the George Boone III and Mary Milton Mogridge line and is a 1st cousin 3 times removed to Daniel Boone.
It is thought that her middle name came from her step-grandmother, Eleanor Ellender Bryan, sister of Daniel Boone's wife Rebecca Bryan.
No record has been found of where Thomas is buried but the logical place would have been the Barnhill Family Cemetery so I have placed him there.
The person that has the memorial for Thomas and and Rachel's son James B. Cruse ignored the e-mails I sent so I have put his information on his Wife, Mildred Davis King Cruse as their son was, Brigadier General Thomas Cruse, one of only a little over 100 Medal of Honor Recipients of the United States (The City of Owensboro honored him with a plaque on the Courthouse Lawn in 2010 after I contacted the Owensboro-Messenger and gave them his information) and their grandsons were, Midshipman James Thomas Cruse, who died in service to his country, and Colonel Fred T. Cruse
