The funeral for Sarah Catherine Tyler, 71, of Athens, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home with burial in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Tyler died Sunday, October 29, 2006, at her daughter's home in Harvest. She was born May 5, 1935 in Limestone County.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tanner and retired from Federal Mogul.
She is survived by her husband, William Tyler Jr. of Athens; one daughter, Gayle Massey of Harvest; one son, Steve Tyler of Yankeytown, FL; two sisters, Margaret Gibson of Clewiston, FL, and Wanda Tucker of Rogersville; three brothers, Paul Moore, David Moore, and James Moore, all of Athens; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
