Fred Benjamin Moore, 85, Athens, died Saturday at his residence.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Rayburn officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Alma Moore; three daughters, Sarah Tyler of Athens, Margaret Gibson of Clewiston, FL, and Wanda Tucker of Rogersville; five sons, Henry Moore of Elkmont, Paul Moore of Paw Paw, Mich., Franklin Moore, David Moore and James Moore, all of Athens; a stepson, Bobby Nails of Athens; three stepdaughters, Frances Pitts, Vivian Haggermaker and Louise Marotta, all of Athens; a sister, Frances Wilkins of Cleveland, OH; two brothers, Elmer Moore of Akron, OH, and Dewey Moore of Nashville; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
