He met his wife Louise Marie Salters during WW II while serving and they were married in Houston, Texas on November 7th, 1942
First serving with the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II, he went on to serve in the Korean and Vietnam conflicts with the Air Force. He retired with the rank of Colonel.
He died unexpectedly May 8th, 1972 while packing possesions to move from Oklahoma City to Houston, Texas.
