A homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 91 years young, born July 21, 1908, in Tylertown, Miss., and was a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting was at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the funeral home from noon until religious services at 3 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Thurston Brice. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Victor B. Ginn Jr. and Jane Ginn, Robb L. Ginn and Nancy Ginn, all of Baton Rouge; five granddaughters and spouses, Pamela Ginn Forestier and Craig J. Forestier, both of Baton Rouge, Wendy Ginn Nelson and Debbs Nelson of St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, April Ginn Wagner and Rodney Wagner, Mandeville, Stephanie Ginn and Michelle Ginn, both of Atlanta; five great-grandchildren, Christopher, Sean and Alexandra Forestier, Sydney and Andee Nelson of St. John; a brother, Nelson Stogner, Tylertown; and four sisters, Ruth Burkett and Leona Sumrall, both of Mississippi, Ollie Mae Porch, Petersburg, Va., and Betty Jo Hardy, Bogalusa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor B. Ginn Sr.; parents, George Wilbur and Mary Guy Stogner; sisters, Parnell Pigott and Pearl Freeman; brothers, W.S. and Adville Stogner; a daughter-in-law, Sue Ginn; and a grandson, David Ginn. Pallbearers will be Craig Forestier, Debbs Nelson, Rodney Wagner, Clyde Pigott Jr., Jerry Pigott, Billy Bourne, Harold Dillon, Jerry Ginn and James Ginn. She was a member of Florida Boulevard Baptist Church and a past volunteer for the Baton Rouge General Auxiliary.
