Nelson Stogner, 77, of Tylertown, died there Aug. 1, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare.
Visitation is 5:30 to 9 tonight at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in Tylertown. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Stogner Family Cemetery.
Mr. Stogner was born Jan. 10, 1927, in Walthall County. He was the son of the late G.W. and Elizabeth Pope Stogner.
He was a retired janitor and had worked at Dexter High School for many years.
Survivors include three sisters, Leona Sumrall of Tylertown, Betty Jo Hardee of Bogalusa, La., and Ollie Mae Porch of Petersburg, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
