ROSALIE TORIAN, was born 4 May 1901 in Paducah, McCracken County, and died 28 April 1995 in Jefferson County, Missouri, in a nursing home at age 93 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, DeSoto, Jefferson County, Missouri. Rosalie married Edward George McCreary, 20 May 1925 in Equality, Gallatin County, Illinois.

Ed was born 9 February 1902 in St. Louis, was baptized 23 February 1902 at St. Michael’s Church in St. Louis; and died 16 May 1980 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, DeSoto. Ed died of a subdural hematoma and was a retired merchant of the DeSoto Cigar store. He also worked as a surveyor for the Missouri State Highway Department.

Rosalie was a homemaker for most of her life and worked in retail sales early in her life.

Courier Journal, May 3, 1995 states she is survived by one son Gerald McCreary, 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, DeSoto.
