Emillie Isabelle Nall Torian was born to John S. Nall and Susan Sellars. Robert Ervin Torian and Emily [sic] Isabell Nall were married at her father J. S. Nall's house on 10 October 1888. Emillie was born 6 June 1869 in Graves County and died 18 February 1957 according to her cemetery stone although her death certificate and funeral book show she was born 7 June 1869. In 1904 the Paducah city directory shows R. E. Torian, a marketer residing at 206 S. 2nd.

In her later years she lived with her daughter Minnie in DeSoto, Missouri. Emillie died 18 February 1957 at 605 W. Kelly in DeSoto. She died of bronchopneumonia and infirmities of old age and is buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery, in McCracken County.

Mrs. Emillie Nall Torian was a native of Graves County and had formerly lived in Paducah but had lived in Missouri for 12 years. She was the widow of R.E. Torian. Survivors include 3 sons, Jesse Torian of Paramount, Calif., Eddy [sic] Torian of Paducah and Dewey Torian of DeSoto; 4 daughters, Mrs. Annie Myers of McDade, Texas, Mrs. Minnie Ellis and Mrs. Rosalie McCreary of DeSoto, and Mrs. Cleo Glenn of Tucson, Arizona, a sister, Mrs. Pearl Elliott of Mayfield; 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The body is at Lindsey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Emillie Torian, 88 [sic really 87], DeSoto, died Monday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Ellis, with whom she had been living for the past 13 years. Other children include Dewey Torian, and Mrs. E. G. McCreary. Services will be in Paducah, KY. Mothershead Funeral Home is in charge.
