Services held for Alcide Boudreaux
Church Point, Louisiana
October 9, 1951
Funeral services were held at a 9 a.m. Mass at the Lady of Sacred Heart Catholic Church here yesterday (October 8, 1951) morning for Alicide Boudreaux, 68, life-long resident of Bristol, who died Saturday afternoon at his home.

Rev. Gene Speyrer was the celebrant of the Mass.

Pallbearers were Gilbert, Austin, Frank, Ashton, Alphonse and Russell Boudreaux.

Survivors include his wife, the former Rena Knight; nine sons, Clebert of Lewisburg, Louisiana; Frank of Opelousas; Austin of Port Arthur, Texas; Roy and Russell of Church Point; Gilbert, Robert, Alphonse and Ashton of Sunset; nine daughters, Sister Mary Ignacious of Immaculate Conception Convent of New Orleans; Mrs. Perry Richard, Mrs. Lion Perrodin, Mrs. Earlie Meche, Mrs. Saul Perrodin and Mrs. Voorhies Higginbotham, all of Church Point; Mrs. Jean Soix Comeaux and Mrs. Jeston Savoie of Sunset, and Miss Mina Boudreaux of Opelousas. Also surviving are two brothers, Moise and Placide of Sunset, and three sisters, Mrs Edgar Faul of Oberlin Mrs. Fedora Boudreaux of Vinton, Louisiana and Mrs. Leceuse Faul of Church Point. Thirty-five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

E. D. Melancon and Son Funeral Home of Carencro had charge of arrangements.
