Mrs. Susie O. Conner
Funeral services were held April 11 from Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church for Mrs. Susie O. Conner, 98, of 707 E. Church St., Monroe, who died April 9. Elder Albert Moss, Elder Joe Tom Perry and Rev. W. C. Tribble officiated and interment was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Robert O'Kelley, Julius Autry, Harry Adams, Emmett Clegg, Beton Laseter and Billy Conner.

Born October 10, 1888 in Walton County, Mrs. Conner was a daughter of the late G. W. and Emma Brown O'Kelley. She was the widow of Walter D. Conner and was a member of the Walton County Senior Citizens and of Mr. Paron Primitive Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Jess (Hilda) Griffin of Bostwick, sons, Mell Conner, Prince Conner both of Monroe, Carl Conner of Mableton, Hugh Conner of Phoenix, Ariz., and John Sidney Conner of Chicago, Ill.; sister, Mrs. Bessie Haralson of Social Circle; brother Hugh O'Kelley of Monroe, and 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
