Johnson
A native of Cherokee County, Ralph Houston Johnson, 53 of Summerville, passed away Sunday afternoon. April 25, in Redmond Park Hospital in Rome, following an extended illness.
Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jimmy Wilborn officiating. Internment was in Hopewell Cemetery, Jordan Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his mother, Mrs. Bonnie Nicholson of Lylerly, a sister, Mrs. Bert Snyder of Rome, two brothers Wallace Johnson of Lylerly, Jack Johnson of Gaylesville. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Gordon Johnson in 1977 and a sister Mrs. Thelma Ruth Clayton in 1964.
