Tillman was the eldest son of Iley Edgar Kelley and Daisy Maud Kelley. All four sons served in WWII. Tillman chose to serve in the Calvary. During WWII Tillman was critically injured and remained, almost 30 years, in a veteran's hospital until his death. He was proud of his service to America and we are proud of him. He had a wonderful, sweet smile and a grand Irish sense of humor. His family looked up to him as the oldest brother. Before he enlisted he was married to a lovely wife named Elvy. After years of realizing there would never be any improvement from his traumatic head injury, she asked his brothers and sisters for permission to divorce him which they understood and granted. Tillman was loved by his parents and brothers and sisters.
He has no survivors.
