Died Tuesday, July 5, 1994, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 74 and a native of Belle Alliance. He was a retired City Parish maintenance employee and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Visiting was held at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 10 a.m. until religious services at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Ratcliff. Entombment in Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum. Survived by wife, Joan G. Albarez,Baton Rouge; a son, Noah A. Albarez Jr., North Carolina; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Badeaux, Gross Tete, and Laura A. Stevens, Baton Rouge; four sisters, Elma Brown, Baton Rouge, Elva Richard, Baker, Ethel Evans, Baton Rouge, and Ureline Summers, Greenwell Springs; a brother, Claude Albarez, Rosedale; a grandchild, five step grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Albarez Sr.; a grandson, Jason Albarez; a sister, Velma Ruiz; and three brothers, Tina Albarez, Andrew Albarez and A.J.
