Descendant Of Robert Fulton Passes Away Here
Mrs. Lavinia Frances Pryor, widow of the late Capt. S. N. Pryor, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. C. McDaniel, 1815 Washington Avenue.
Mrs. Pryor was a descendant of Robert Fulton, inventor of the steamboat. She was born in Ross County, Ohio, March 13, 1824 and had lived in Dallas for about eighteen years. She is survived by these children: J. W. Pryor, Huntsville, Mo., F. Pryor, Carthage, Mo., J. C. Pryor, Saxon, Mo., F. W. Pryor, Chandler, Ok., Mrs. J. C. McDaniel, Dallas.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. M. M. Davis and Rev. W. M. Anderson, will be held at the McDaniel home at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
