MARY LOU MATTHEWS, age 73, of Monticello, Kentucky passed away Friday, May 28, 1999 at the Wayne County Hospital.
She was born in Cambridge City, Indiana on September 29, 1925, the daughter of Andrew Burgess and Minnie Irene Norman Burgess. Both parents preceded her in death.
She married Eugene Matthews, who survives.
She is survived by 3 children Darrell Matthews and Larry Matthews, both of Monticello, Kentucky, and Carolyn Thrasher of Bowling Green, Kentucky; 1 brother Robert
(Bob) Burgess of Indiana; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 31, 1999 at 10 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Tom Nelson and Brother Oscar Franklin officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery.
