Lucille Shelton Turnmeyer, 85, of Front Royal, Virginia, died Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at Warren Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester conducted by the Rev. Jim Bunce.
Mrs. Turnmeyer was born October 8, 1924, in Greene County, Virginia, daughter of the late George Wise and Bertha Malone Shelton. She was a member of Marlow Heights Baptist Church in Front Royal. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry George Turnmeyer, Sr.
Surviving are a son Harry George "Buddy" Turnmeyer, Jr. of Flint Hill, Virginia; her sister Thelma Touhey of Front Royal; seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Along with her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Eloise "Patsy" Fansler.
Arrangements are being handled by Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal.
