Henry's obituary was found in the Boston Evening Transcript, 6 April 1891, p. 5, c. 3.
"Judge Henry Souther, a leading citizen of Lynn, dropped dead on the street in that city, Saturday evening. He was born in Lynn in 1826 and for some time lived in Erie, Pennsylvania where he served two terms as corporation Judge. In 1887 he returned to Lynn, where he was actively engaged in many public and private enterprises."
