Obituary
Bina Johanna Olson, was born on May 30, 1882 in Omaha, Nebraska to Gabriel and Johanna Sophia Oman. She departed this life June 4, 1954 at the age of 72 years and five days in an automobile accident.

At the age of two years, she moved with her parents to a homestead at Gothenburg, Nebraska where she resided until her marriage to Oscar Henry Olson on December 30, 1908, at which time she moved with her husband to a farm near Elsie, Nebraska.

To this union were born five children: Ruby McQueen and Henry Olson of Elsie, Nebraska; John Olson of Madrid, Nebraska; Glen Olson of Ridgecrest, California; and Elmer Olson of Grant, Nebraska.

She was confirmed in the Lutheran Church in Madrid, Nebraska on January 27, 1946, and proved herself a very faithful and loyal member of the Madrid congregation.

She is survived by her husband, Oscar Olson, and by five children, three brothers, Oscar Elmer Oman, Emil Gabriel Oman and Carl Victor Oman and two sisters, Hilma Oman and Emma Bell, 12 grandchildren, and other relatives and a host of friends. One brother Oscar Almar Oman died in 1884 when he was one year old.

She resided on the farm near Elsie until December 1941, at which time she moved to Madrid, where she knew her home until the time of her death. She was always a very loving wife and a wonderful mother. A memorial to her remembrance has been established, totaling at present $23. The purpose of this memorial is to be designated by the family.

"Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden light."
