Mrs. Sarah Winslow died yesterday evening at her home in town,where she had recently come from the hospital. She went to the hospital with typhoid fever a few months ago and after the fever was past developed other complications which finally wore her out.
She was in her 70th year and was the daughter of Joseph Winslow,of Gaskill Township.
She married her cousin, John W. Winslow, and leaves two sons and three daughters, all grown up.One son,Frank Winslow,died last fall of fever at their home in Gaskill Township.

Mrs. Sara Winslow died at her home in this place January 14,in the 70th year of her age. Funeral services were held
at her late residence on the afternoon of the 16th inst.,conducted by Rev. H.G. Dodds, and the body was interred in the private family plot at Winslow. The cause of her death was Typhoid Fever. Last fall her son Frank died of the same disease and Mrs. Winslow contracted the fever shortly after her son's death.She leaves two daughters & three sons.
She was the sister of the Hon. R.C. Winslow.

Sara's body was interred 1st at the Winslow Family Cemetery in Winslow,Gaskill Township,Pennsylvania; it was later removed to the Circle Hill Cemetery in Punxsutawney; as were the remains of her late son,Frank Winslow.
