Carl F. Bernhardt, 62 years old, a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, died yesterday in his home at 330 North Holmes Avenue.
Prior to his retirement in April, Mr. Bernhardt was an inspector for Plant 5 of the Allison Division of General Motors Corporation. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and it's Holy Name Society.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday in the Usher Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church. Burial will be in Holy Name Cemetery.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Julia Bernhardt; three daughters, Mrs. Patricia Snow and Mrs. June Vaughn, both of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Josephine Henderson of San Francisco, Cal.; a son, Lawrence H Bernhardt, and a sister, Mrs. Eleanora Lynch, both of Indianapolis, and 10 grandchildren.
