Funeral services for Frank L. Bernhardt, 950 North Tibbs Avenue, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Conkle West 16th Street Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Bernhardt, 69 years old, died Tuesday in his home. A lifelong Indianapolis resident, he was the father of Mrs. Robert A. O’Neal, wife of the sheriff of Marion County. Seven years ago he and a son joined to operate the Peerless Engineering and Pattern Company. A patternmaker, he was a member of the patternmakers Union. He also was a member of Holy Trinity Church.
Surviving besides the daughter are his mother, Mrs. John Bernhardt; two sons, Edward and Charles Bernhardt; a sister, Mrs. Elnora Lynch; a brother, Carl Bernhardt, all of Indianapolis, and nine grandchildren.
