Mrs. P.L. Stout of Hill City, Kansas passed
away at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 13,
1944 at the home of her daughter, Mrs.Owen
Hull, near Vliets, Kansas, after an illness of
several months.
Mrs. Gertrude Stout, 78, was a former resid-
ent of Frankfort, Kansas, but had resided
at Hill City, Kansas for many years. Due
to her failing health, Mr. and Mrs. Stout
had been spending the winter with Mr. and
Mrs. Hull. She had many friends in this
locality who will regret to learn of her death.
Besides her husband she is survived by one
daughter, Mrs. Owen Hull, Vliets, Kansas;
one son Hamilton Stout, Phoenix, Arizona;
one sister, Miss Agnes Auld, Frankfort,
Kansas; four brothers, John Auld, George
Auld, Sid Auld and Frank Auld, all of
Frankfort, Kansas; and many other relatives
and many friends.
Funeral services were held at Oelkers
Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday,
Burial was in the Frankfort Cemetery
Frankfort, Kansas, body will lie in state
at the Auld home, southeast of Frankfort.
