Frank Wagner Auld, son of William Hamilton and
Mary (Bradford) Auld was born in the old
stone house on the Auld farm, two miles
southeast of Frankfort on February 10,
1873 and departed this life in his home,
just south of Frankfort on November 2,
1958 having reached the age of 85 years,
8 months and 21 days.
He attended school in the Auld district
also the Agricultural College in Manhattan
where he played on the football team and
Business college in Salina, Kansas For
several years he worked in Topeka,Kansas
and Clarinda, Iowa but returned to the home
farm at Frankfort and has continuously been
in the farming business since that time.
He was married in 1909 to Ida Wallace of
Vliets, Kansas, who passed away in 1911 and
on September 1, 1923, he was married to
Mrs. Nellie (Hull) Tyler who survives him.
He had no children of his own but step-sons
James and Downer Tyler. He was a member
of the Presbyterian church.
Survivors included his wife, Nellie; step-sons
James and Downer Tyler.
Burial was in the Vermillion Cemetery,
Vermillion, Kansas.
