Ferl Funeral to Be Held Today
Funeral services for Edward Ferl, who died here Monday, will be held at the Ferl home, 308 North Alisos Street this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Reverend W. H. Stafford of Grace Church officiating. Burial will be made in Santa Barbara Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gus Peterson, Charles Belers, E. A. Johnson and J. B. Wagner.
Mr. Ferl was 80 years old. He had lived 50 years in Santa Barbara and was well known here, especially among his associates in trade. He was a carpenter. Active in union affairs, he was a leader in all activities for the promotion of good in the community.
He is survived by his widow, Frances, and four sons, Edward, Otto, Karl and Paul, and a niece, Anna Meyers, who made her home with the family.

Edward and Frances were married in Santa Barbara on Nov. 11, 1870.
Edward was the brother of Wilhelmina (Ferl) Kirsten (1833-1917) and William Frederick Ferl (1835-1906)
