Mrs. Stanford T. (Willie Bell) Welch 80, of 2516 First Ave. S. in Texas City, died Friday night at Galveston County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Welch was a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be announced by the Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale, Tx. Local arrangements are by the Emkin-Linton Funeral Home, Texas City.
Survivors include her husband, two sons, Harlan Welch of Jennings, La. and Bobby Welch* of Texas City; two daughters Mrs. Willyne Starns and Miss Gladyne Welch, both of Texas City; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery, Rockdale, Tx.
* Bobby Welch is the son of Gladyne Welch; but was raised by Stanford and Willie Bell.
