Services for Stanford Adrin Welch, 70 of Lexington will be at 10:00 am Thursday at Hugh Wilson Cemetery in Tanglewood with the Rev. Jimmy Haile officiating.
Mr. Welch was born in Lee County to Stanford and Willie Bell (Green) Welch. He was reared in Forest Grove and lived most of his life in Lexington. He married Daisy Holton on Nov. 9, 1946, in Rockdale. He was employed for 50 years as a carpenter and was a member of Local 973 in Texas City, receiving a 50 yr. pin. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member of the American Legion in Lexington.
