Funeral Services for Oceola Lawrence Green Jr., 80 were held Sunday, Rev. D. D. Simpson, First Baptist Church Rockdale officiated. Mr. Green died Friday in a Temple hospital where he had been the last two weeks. He had been a resident of Lexington for 16 years, but was born in La. February 8, 1890, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Oceola Green. He had worked in a cannery in Del Monte, California. Survivors include two brothers Clarence Green of Houston and Reuben Green of Tennessee; a sister Mrs. Hattie Robinson of Lexington.
