Howard Lynn Abbott, age 47, of Conley Bottom Road, passed away Monday, April 25th at the Wayne County Hospital, as the result of a farm accident. He was born October 15th, 1940 in Wayne County, the son of Leo and Eva Criswell Abbott.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalee Abbott, one son Gary Abbott, two daughters, Freeda Stephenson and Tanya Abbott, two grandchildren, three brothers, Hoyt Abbott of Monticello, Bill Abbott of California and Max Abbott of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, April 28th at 10 am in the chapel of the funeral home with Brother Dewey Burk and Al Hickman officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery. Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
