Date: Monday, December 16, 1996

VALLEY -- Mrs. Clara M. Adamson, 92, of Valley died Friday, Dec. 13, 1996, at George H. Lanier Memorial Nursing Home in Valley.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 14 at 2 p. m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Rev. Billy Weems officiating. Burial followed in Shawmut Cemetery.

Mrs. Adamson is survived by two sisters, Emily Underwood of Valley and Katheirne McQueen of Tallassee; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Born Jan. 12, 1904, in Alabama, Mrs. Adamson was a member of Shawmut United Methodist Church in Valley. She was a member of the Langdale Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Adamason was a homemaker.

Memorials may be made to Shawmut United Methodist Church in memory of Mrs. Adamson.

Johnson Brown-Servie Funeral Home in Valley handled arrangements.
