Mr. Glennie Smith McQueen, age 59, 415 Piedmont Street, Roanoke, passed away at his home at 11:35 Monday night, April 1.
Mr. McQueen is survived by his wife; three sons, Hugh William McQueen and Marlin McQueen, both of the U. S. Air Force, and Glennie Lawrence McQueen of Roanoke; two daughters, Mrs. Bessie May Reynolds of Tallassee and Miss Carol McQueen of Roanoke; three brothers, Irwin, Ollie, and Jodie McQueen of Tallassee; seven sisters, Miss Catherine McQueen and Mrs. Love Redden of Tallassee, Mrs. Kyle Lazenby and Mrs. Johnny Stewart of Eclectic, Mrs. Lander Johnson of Wetumpka, and Mrs. Theodore Underwood and Mrs. C. J. Adamson of Shawmut; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. McQueen were conducted Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock from the chapel of Quattlebaum's Funeral Home. Interment was in Cedarwood Cemetery, Quattlebaums directing.
