Lucille departed peacefully from this world at her home in St. George, on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, after a long battle with cancer.
She was born on Sept. 9, 1922 in Montpelier to Seth and Emma Kunz.
She married Glenn Talbot on June 13, 1941. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple.
Lucille was a fabulous cook and entertainer. Her Christmas chocolates were enjoyed by all. Her favorite pastime was playing Bridge with friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Glenn; daughter, Jane Stoddard (Don); two sons, Michael (Lou) and Jeff (Leslie); eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service was conducted by Matthews Mortuary at the Montpelier City Cemetery on Saturday, Feb. 20.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers that you please make a donation to a charity.
