Son of Jacob Robert Bezner (1892–1980) and Elizabeth Catherine Wiese Bezner (1899–1988). Lambert was the oldest of a family with 5 sons and 4 daughters. Lambert was a Vice President of the First State Bank of Gainesville, Texas.
Lambert entered service on 23 June 1943 and served with the US Navy in WW2 as a crew member of the USS Chaumont AP-5 which was later converted into a Hospital Ship known as the USS Samaritan. He was honorably discharged on 1 Oct 1945 after the end of the war.
After his service Lambert married Johann Marie Seyler (1926-2020) on 4 Aug 1949 in St Johns Catholic Church, Valley View, Texas. They were parents to a son. Lambert worked at the First State Bank for 43 years, he was a director of the Gainesville Memorial Hospital Board and a member or the Knights of Columbus and Chamber of Commerce. He and his family attend St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gainesville.
Lambert passed away suddenly at age 62.
