(Written in memory of Nellie, by Mrs. A. G. Brokaw)
We have lost a sister, daughter.
She has gone beyond the skies,
She has gone to meet the loved one
Dwelling there in Paradise.
Do we miss her? Yes we miss her,
And we loved her oh, so well,
But she's taken from our circle
With the angels now to dwell.
She has fought life's battles bravely;
She was patient to the last.
Thinking alwas of her task.
Yet again we hope to meet her,
When the days of life are sped,
And in Heaven with the joy to greet her,
Were no farewell tears are shed.
