BAUMGARTEN
Walter Baumgarten, son of Charley and Dorothy Baumgarten, was born January 23, 1900, and passed away February 8, 1973, having reached the age of 73 years.
During his lifetime he worked for a lumber company in Washington State.
He was baptized in the Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christina.
Surviving him are his son, Truman, of Moclips, Wash., five brothers, Darrell Goering of Chariton, Howard Goering of Lucas, Carl Goering of Derby, Ulin Goering of Indianola, and Arthur Goering of Richland, Wash., two sisters, Leora Knust of Russell, and Bertha Gravitt of Milan, Ill.
He will be greatly missed by his family, relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. J. Edward Quick at 1:00 p.m., Monday, Feb. 12, 1973, at the Fielding Funeral Home. Interment was in the Chariton Cemetery.
