OBIT: Willie Pieratt-

Willie (Bill) Pieratt, 75, of 1509 Brentwood St., died at Middletown Hospital Sunday at 3:30pm. He had been a patient there since Friday and had been ill over the past five years.

Born in Hinesboro, Ill., Mr. Pieratt had lived here for over 55 years. He was a member of the Breiel Boulevared Church of God. Mr. Pieratt was a retired employee of the Armco Steel Corp.

He is survived by his wife, Artie; three sons, Gerald and John of Middletown, and Harold of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Combs and Mrs. Barbara Mueller, both of Middletown; three brothers, Asa and Curtis, both of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Holly of Ezel, Ky.; five sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Hogg and Mrs. Goldie Cosby, both of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Winnie Kemplin and Mrs. Mae Williams, both of Jeffersonville, Ky., and Mrs. Irene Plumbee of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home at 10am Wednesday with the Rev. J. Hershel Caudill officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-5 and 7-9pm.
