Passed away Thursday morning December 24, 1987. Mrs. Cosby was born July 9, 1916 in Bonny, Kentucky, the daughter of Napolean W. and Loulie E. (Dennis) Pieratt and had lived in this community for the past 44 years. She retired from Mary Lou Bakery. She attended the First Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Darlene Machin; a son, Henry Pieratt, both of Kalamazoo; six grandchildren; three brothers, and two sisters, Henry Pieratt, Pine Lake, Plainwell; Winnie Kemplin, Jeffersonville, KY; Irene Plumlee, Oak Ridge, TN; Hollie Pieratt, Ezel, KY; Ace Pieratt of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday afternoon at 3:30 from Langeland Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick, with Rev. Mr. John W. Vick officiating. Interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family at the Memorial Chapel today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8.
