Mrs. Bertha Allen, 70 of 2408 9th St., died at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday in Taylor Hospital.
Funeral services are pending at Rix Funeral Home.
Mrs. Allen had resided in Lubbock since 1922, moving here with her husband from Stephenville.
Survivors include the husband, G.E. Allen, 2408 9th St.; three daughters, Mrs. W.H. Galey, 2409 9th St., Mrs. J.L. Thomas, Rt. 3 Lubbock, and Mrs. E.N. Exum, Ropesville; five sons, A.H. Shallowater, L.B., Grants, N.M., H.O., Big Lake, Garland, Ozona, and Dale, 2810 2nd Pl.; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
