Bio

I retired after 39 years of employment as an engineer at Pratt & Whitney, which designs, develops, and manufactures jet engines for commercial and military applications. I grew up in Ozona, TX. Graduated from Texas Tech in 1979 with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. Spent my first 20 years with Pratt & Whitney at their West Palm Beach, FL facility which focused on the design and development of jet engines for military applications. In 2000 I was transferred to the East Hartford, CT facility where I continued to focus on military applications. I retired in 2018 after 19 years in CT and moved to San Angelo, TX.

During my time in CT I developed a fondness for visiting cemeteries and learning about the lives of the people buried there. That developed an interest in researching my own family history. Since retirement I spend my free time touring on a motorcycle, flying drones, volunteering at a facility providing food, clothing, and furniture to those in need, and researching my family history.
