Delco -- Mrs. Edna Bryant Lewis, 72, died Thursday in the Columbus County Hospital
Mrs. Lewis was born in Darlington County, SC, Feb 25, 1900 and was the daughter of the late E. T. and Martha King Bryant. She was the widow of William H. Lewis and member of Golden Rod Chapter of the Eastern Star and Delco First Baptist Chirch.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Lane of Riegelwood, Mrs. Martha Rienert of Allentown, PA and Mrs. Georgia Morgan of Witchita, Kan.; three sons, the Rev. W. H. Lewis of Leland, Milton Lewis of Allentown, Pa, and Charles Lewis of Delco; a brother, Preston Bryant of Southport, 23 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 pm in the Delco First Baptist Church, the Rev Hughe Godwin and the Rev. W.H. Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery near Whiteville.
