TRINIDAD - Services for Georgia Lou Airheart, 82, Trinidad, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Trinidad, with the Rev. Johnny Singleton officiating. Burial will be in Trinidad Cemetery under direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens. Mrs. Airheart died Aug. 3 in an Athens hospital. She was born Jan. 14, 1915, in Kerens to the late Georg Durwood and Cora Mae Hughes Cherry. She was a lifetime resident of Henderson County and member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Trinidad. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Airheart, on Oct. 8, 1996.
Survivors include sons, Gary Airheart, Trinidad, and P. Airheart, Kemp; brothers, Johnny Cherry, Raceland, La., Herbert Cherry, Waco; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Trinidad Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 205, Trinidad, 75163.
