PEARL COLLEY PASSES AWAY IN FORT COLLINS

Pearl N. COLLEY, long time resident of Steamboat, passed away following a long illness in a nursing home in Fort Collins. At the time of her death on March 22, she was 78 years old.

Mrs. COLLEY was born at Otley, Iowa on August 28, 1888, but she spent most of her life in Colorado. She and her husband, Frank L. COLLEY, lived in Hayden prior to moving to Steamboat Springs.

From 1924 until her retirement in 1959, she was librarian for the Steamboat Public Library. She was an active member of the Royal Neighbors and the Women's Club.

Surviving her are two sons William Lee COLLEY of Fort Collins and Frank A. COLLEY of Colorado Springs; a brother, Rehman MacCROSKEY of California; four grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

The Reverend Arthur Goodrich conducted the services at 2:00 p.m. on March 25th in the Root Mortuary chapel. Members of the Royal Neighbors Burnema Camp 5852 helped with the services.

Accompanied on the organ by Maxine Ohman, Marjorie Wheeler and Maybelle Chotvacs sang "In The Garden," and "Someday We'll Understand."

Pallbearers were Clarence PATTERSON, J. A. NELSON, Raymond MOSHER, Fred DUCKELS, Mike STEES and Willard MARSHALL.

Interment was in the Steamboat cemetery.
